“Far right” party AfD? My comments on GBNews

I just had the pleasure to comment on the victory of @AfD and @UlrichSiegmund in Saxony-Anhalt on @GBNews. The hosts seemed especially interested in why “East Germans” favor the “far right” party with its “Nazi scandals”?

I elaborated on the according framing by Germany’s domestic intelligence “Verfassungsschutz” (@BfV_Bund) and the fact, that few people in the eastern part of Germany believe the allegations of the AfD’s closeness to Nazi ideology to be anything more than political defamation.
